In Holly Springs, Mississippi

Tucked in behind the former Illlinios Central Depot in Holly Springs are several former Norfork Southern cabooses, PREX, and IC equipment. Alabama RR is a Pioneer Railcorp line.

last reported as part of the LORAM ballast cleaning train.
My records indicate that it is SR # X524 Built 1-74 Converted to NS ballast train tender on 8-92. Bob B.

Holly Springs, MS - B&O 903768, Class C26, caboose was on the Mississippi Central RR at Holly Springs, MS. Now there is an ex-B&O Class C26 caboose (PREX 2?) painted for the Mississippi Central RR at this location. Coincidence? I don't think so! Roger Kirkpatrick
