Sitting on the "ready track" so to speak, these two pieces of equipment are awaiting their move to Train Mountain. SP 4047 and SP 206

Well some things you come on in life you are just not prepared for and Train Mountain was one of those for me. I went there expecting to find a line of cabooses set up for cabins or some such not 2300 acres of manacured lawns, shrubbery, a live steam track and railroad equipment everywhere. I quite literally had not allowed enough time to see the place it is so big. If you love trains and live steam and cabooses and like to camp or any combination of the above, you must go see Train Mountain. The map above only shows the area right around the offices. Over half of the area covered isn't even on that map. The track goes under a state highway and will soon go over it too. By all means go look at their web site and plan a trip. You owe it to yourself. If that hasn't convinced you, let me tell you my wife was even impressed. The photos below only show part of the equipment there.
